Alhamdulillāh, all praise is due to Allah who commanded us with kindness and generosity. Ṣadaqah, or voluntary charity, is one of the most powerful acts a believer can do. It is not limited to giving money—smiling at your brother, removing harm from the road, or speaking a kind word are all forms of Ṣadaqah.
The Prophet ﷺ said: “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim). This means whatever we give for the sake of Allah returns to us in ways we cannot imagine—through blessings, protection, and forgiveness.
Ṣadaqah purifies our wealth, heals our hearts from greed, and protects us from calamities. Even a date given sincerely can weigh heavily on the scale of deeds.
Therefore, let us make Ṣadaqah a daily habit—whether by wealth, kindness, or good deeds—so that we may earn Allah’s mercy and endless rewards in this life and the Hereafter.
