🌿 The Value of Time in Islam

Alhamdulillāh, Allah reminds us in the Qur’an: “By Time, indeed mankind is in loss, except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and advise each other to truth and patience.” (Sūrah Al-‘Asr).
Time is one of the greatest blessings given to us, yet it is also one of the easiest to waste. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There are two blessings which many people lose: health and free time.” (Bukhārī).
Every moment is an opportunity—either a witness for us or against us. If we use our time in worship, knowledge, service, and kindness, it becomes a source of reward. But if we waste it in heedlessness, we will regret it when it is too late.
My brothers and sisters, let us treat our time like gold. Plan each day with some remembrance of Allah, some learning, some service to others, and some rest for the body. In this balance lies success in both worlds.
